WEEE Information for SEPATON Customers and Recyclers

Under the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive and its related implementing regulations, when customers buy new electrical and electronic equipment from SEPATON they are entitled to:

• Send old equipment for recycling on a one-for-one, like-for-like basis (this varies depending on the country)
• Send the new equipment back for recycling when this ultimately becomes waste

Collection and Recycling Information for Customers Outside the UK 

SEPATON products are sold by dealers and distributors in the following countries subject to WEEE: Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the UK (click here for additional information for UK customers).

The dealers and distributors act as the importer of the equipment into the country in which it is sold. Thus the dealers and distributors have the legal responsibility to:

• Register as the WEEE producer in the country in which it is sold.
• Provide arrangements for collection and recycling of WEEE arising from SEPATON products that the dealer and distributor sells in that country.
