SEPATON VTLs enable users to take advantage of NetBackup software features, such as Inline Copy, Advanced Recovery for Critical Applications and Multiplexing to increase the speed of backups and restores to an unparalleled 34.5 TB/hour. As a result, you can rapidly restore full and incremental backups; instantly perform granular recovery for VMware®, SharePoint Portal Server, and Exchange; and increase the frequency of your incremental backups for added protection.     SEPATON VTLs deliver backup and restore performance of up to 9600 MB/sec and work in conjunction with NetBackup software to improve restore times of multiplexed data by providing random access to stored data.

    Configure your VTL with any logical combination of up to 3072 virtual libraries and virtual tape drives. Use NetBackup’s ability to back up as many as 32 different data streams to a single tape drive to protect VMWare environments, email applications, and large databases in one easy-to-manage location.
