The SEPATON S2100®-DS2 Express is a simple, cost-effective way for enterprise departments to back up remote office and departmental data. The disk-based S2100-DS2 Express delivers four times faster performance than tape, nearly instantaneous restores, and up to 14 TB of storage with a fully automated, easy-to-manage interface.

• Simplify departmental data protection.
  Featuring the industry’s only 30 minutes box-to-backup design, the S2100-DS2 Express appliance can be dropped into an existing tape environment and running in less than half an hour without changes to policies or procedures. The appliance is available in 3.5 TB and 7 TB useable capacity options and is equipped with software compression to deliver double or triple this capacity without adding disk.

  Like all SEPATON products, the S2100-DS2 Express is built with our patented ContentAware™ architecture, enabling backup/restore speeds of up to 300 MB/second and wire-speed restores of full backup sets and individual files alike.

  The S2100-DS2 Express includes high availability features, such as SATA RAID-based storage and redundant power and cooling. In addition, the SEPATON virtual tape library (VTL) software is protected by redundant, internally mirrored drives.
