SEPATON Appoints Tim Butchart as VP and General Manager, EMEA Operations

MARLBOROUGH, MA – December 15, 2010 – SEPATON, the leader in enterprise-class disk-based data protection platforms, has appointed Tim Butchart as vice president and general manager for its Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) operations, based in London. In this role he will direct SEPATON’s well-established EMEA sales and support team along with the partner network and will be responsible for driving SEPATON’s continued growth throughout the EMEA region.

 

With 25 years of management experience in the high technology industry, Butchart has a proven record of devising and deploying highly effective sales growth strategies. He has held several senior management positions with leading technology companies, including vice president of worldwide business intelligence and data management sales for SGI, vice president of EMEA for Fujitsu Softek, and European sales director for Amdahl Software. Butchart will report to Michael Thompson, SEPATON’s executive vice president of worldwide sales and marketing.
