Michael Worhach, President and CEO

Mike Worhach, CEO, SEPATONAs president and CEO, Mike Worhach is responsible for management, execution and strategic direction of the company. Mike has 30 years of experience in the computer and storage industry with various senior management roles in sales, marketing and executive management. Mike joined SEPATON in September of 2003 as president and chief executive officer. Before joining SEPATON, Mike had been president of Auspex Systems, Inc., the original developer of network-attached storage devices. Previously, he served as a division vice president at Data General and then EMC, where he was responsible for Americas sales and services and the worldwide healthcare division. Prior to 1993, Mr. Worhach worked at Unisys for 17 years and held a variety of senior management positions in sales and marketing as division president, VP of marketing operations and executive assistant vice chairman. Mr. Worhach holds an MBA from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a BS from Kings College, Pennsylvania.


Bob Iacono, Chief Operating and Financial Officer

Bob Iacono, COO, SEPATONBob Iacono joined SEPATON in October of 2003 as chief operating and financial officer. Bob, having overall responsibility for the company’s financial management, development, QA, manufacturing and customer support activities, brings more than 25 years of industry experience to SEPATON. Prior to SEPATON, his career is highlighted by senior level management positions in finance, manufacturing, sales, marketing and general management. Within the last ten years, he has been VP of professional services at EMC, VP and general manager of Data General’s worldwide healthcare organization, and VP of marketing at Auspex. Bob also held senior finance positions at both Unisys and Burroughs Corporation. Bob has an MBA in international finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a BS in operations management from Syracuse University.


Tom Beamer, Vice President of Finance

Tom Beamer, VP Finance, SEPATONTom is responsible for all facets of the controllers activity. Tom also provides guidance to sales operations and works with manufacturing and customer support on improving costing and inventory management. Most recently, Tom was VP of finance and CFO at Comprehensive Neuro Science, a venture capital-backed company in the clinical trials space located in White Plains, New York. Prior to 2004, Tom worked for the FirstJensen Group, a financial consulting company that specialized in working with VC-backed companies. Earlier, Tom held a number of financial management positions including VP of finance at Home Product International (a publicly traded company) and other companies in a variety of senior financial management positions. Tom has experience in all phases of the corporate finance activity, including raising capital, liquidity events, treasury, financial controls, accounting and regulatory compliance. Tom is a Certified Public Accountant and worked for KPMG earlier in his career.


Terry Richardson, Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales

Terry Richardson, EVP Sales, SEPATONTerry Richardson is responsible for SEPATON’s worldwide sales efforts for both direct and indirect channels. Terry was previously at EMC Corporation, where his executive roles included vice president of global OEM sales and vice president of channel sales for the Americas. Prior to EMC, Terry was vice president of Americas sales at Data General, where he worked in various sales and sales management positions during his ten years with the company. Before Data General, Terry held various sales positions at Burroughs/Unisys for five years. He graduated from Boston College’s School of Management with a BS degree in computer science and marketing.


Fidelma Russo, Executive Vice President of Engineering and Development

Fidelma Russo, EVP Engineering, SEPATONFidelma Russo is responsible for SEPATON’s engineering organization and oversees the continuing technical advancement of its innovative ContentAware™ architecture. Fidelma previously served as vice president of HP’s Adaptive Infrastructure (AI) organization, which is part of HP’s business technology portfolio. Fidelma drove the evolution of products and services required for HP to deliver on the next-generation data center trend. Prior to HP, Fidelma was a senior vice president at Sun Microsystems where she was responsible for all aspects of the SAN, NAS and storage software business including product portfolio investments, design, development and support. During her tenure, she helped to drive strategy and innovation into all aspects of the business. She also held a number of executive and senior management positions at EMC, Data General and Digital Equipment Corporation with responsibility for a wide variety of server, storage and software product lines. Fidelma received an engineering degree from the National University of Ireland and a master’s degree in computer science from Boston University.


Miklos Sandorfi, Chief Technology Officer

Miki Sandorfi, CTO, SEPATONMiklos Sandorfi is responsible for SEPATON’s product vision and roadmap. He has an extensive background in the development of enterprise-class storage systems. He served for more than a decade at EMC Corporation, where he was responsible for many technological advances in several product categories, including client/server, mainframe and Open Symmetrix. Miklos worked closely with industry leaders to help develop the Fibre Channel protocol in its infancy and was instrumental in bringing Fibre Channel connectivity to EMC products. Most recently, he was responsible for the FICON (ESCON-over-Fibre Channel) architecture and implementation in Symmetrix. Miklos has 10 granted and 10 pending patents for inventions in the Fibre Channel and Disk Subsystem I/O technology space. Prior to EMC, he held positions at a leading nationwide computer rental and services company, where he developed corporate MIS infrastructure and software. He has a BS in Engineering from Northeastern University and completed an executive education program in conjunction with Babson College.


Asim Zaheer, Vice President of Marketing

Asim Zaheer, VP Marketing, SEPATONAsim Zaheer is responsible for all marketing on a global basis, including branding and positioning, communications, partner programs and product marketing. For more than 15 years, Asim has held senior marketing positions in the storage industry. He came to SEPATON from Hitachi Data Systems, where he was responsible for the Hitachi Content Archive Platform. He began his career at Digital Equipment Corporation, where he managed StorageWorks Enterprise product marketing. Asim held positions that included vice president of marketing for Storability Software, a provider of storage resource management software and services, as well as vice president of marketing for Archivas, a provider of digital archiving software (acquired by Hitachi Data Systems). Asim obtained his MBA and BS from the University of Hartford and University of Connecticut respectively, and also attended the Babson College School of Executive Education. He is a former vice-chairman of the Storage Networking Industry Association’s Data Management Forum and serves as an advisory board member to the University of Connecticut School of Business department of marketing.
