Functional Test Engineer
SEPATON is seeking a Functional Test Engineer to assist in developing automated tests of functionality for its existing and growing set of applications products built on its award-winning Virtual Tape Library (VTL) system.  Current applications include DeltaRemote for remote replication for offsite vaulting, and DeltaStor, the highly powerful and innovative de-duplication product.

Position Responsibilities:

• develop in-depth knowledge of functional area(s)
• work closely with development team
• develop test plan and test cases
• develop automation for the functional area

Position requirements:

• White box testing – working side by side with development team to understand deep technical issues
• Strong debug/analysis skills
• Solid understanding of SQA methodologies
• Good programming/automation skills. Preferably perl.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills
• Linux
• 5+ years of relevant experience

Preferred skills:

• Experience in Agile environment

System Test Engineer
SEPATON is seeking a System Test Engineer to assist in developing automated tests of functionality for its existing and growing set of applications products built on its award-winning Virtual Tape Library (VTL) system.  Current applications include DeltaRemote for remote replication for offsite vaulting, and DeltaStor, the highly powerful and innovative de-duplication product.

Position Responsibilities:

• Develop breadth of knowledge of the VTL, backup apps (TSM, Networker, Netbackup), and databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc)
• Develop test plan and test cases
• Develop automation

Position requirements:

• Experience testing in large, complex system environments
• Experience with stress and limit testing
• Strong debug/analysis skills
• Solid understanding of SQA methodologies
• Good programming/automation skills. Preferably perl.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills
• Linux (additional Windows knowledge is a plus)
• 5+ years of relevant experience

Preferred skills:

• Experience with Backup Apps
• Experience with databases
• Experience in Agile environment
