SEPATON is seeking a Functional Test Engineer to assist in developing automated tests of functionality for its existing and growing set of applications products built on its award-winning disk-based data protection system. Current applications include DeltaRemote^® for remote replication for offsite vaulting, and DeltaStor^®, the highly powerful and innovative de-duplication product.

Position Responsibilities

Develop in-depth knowledge of functional area(s)
Work closely with development team
Develop test plan and test cases
Develop automation for the functional area

Position Requirements

White box testing – working side by side with development team to understand deep technical issues
Strong debug/analysis skills
Solid understanding of SQA methodologies
Good programming/automation skills. Preferably perl.
Excellent communication and collaborative skills
Linux
5+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Skills

Experience in Agile environment
